This project demanded a telephone system that could endure the severe conditions of a major railway tunnel: pervasive dust, constant vibration, humidity fluctuations, and rugged daily use. In response, we have engineered a customized, heavy-duty IP telephone, built upon the robust platform of our JR101-FK-SIP model, with critical modifications to meet this unique challenge head-on.

Key Customization for the Changgan Tunnel:

Enhanced, Sealed Enclosure: While the base model features a rugged die-cast aluminum alloy housing, for this project, we have implemented a custom casing with upgraded sealing gaskets and a refined ingress protection design. This ensures superior resistance to the fine, abrasive dust generated during tunnel boring and construction, maintaining the stringent IP66 rating even in the most particulate-heavy air.

Uncompromised Core Durability: The telephone retains all the legendary toughness of its original design—resistant to extreme temperatures (-40℃ to 65℃), humidity, shock, vibration, and attempted vandalism. It is engineered to be virtually indestructible.

Crystal-Clear Communication in Noise: Equipped with a noise-canceling microphone and support for high-definition voice codecs (G.711, G.722), it guarantees intelligible communication amidst the deafening background noise of heavy machinery, a critical feature for safety instructions and coordination.

Reliable Performance Powered for Any Scenario:

Dual Power Options: Supports both Power-over-Ethernet (802.3af) and 12V DC input, offering flexible deployment anywhere in the tunnel network without reliance on local AC power.

Industrial-Grade Connectivity: Features multiple M20 cable glands for secure wiring and offers both WAN and LAN ports for seamless integration into the project's SIP-based IP-PBX network.

Essential Safety & Control Features: Includes a magnetic reed hook switch for longevity, a hearing-aid compatible handset, and supports two relays to remotely control external devices—such as alarms or lights—directly from the phone, integrating communication with safety systems.
